The journal is a peer-reviewed edition that supports a policy of open access to scientific publications.

Journal of Conference proceedings offer broad coverage of new ideas, methodologies and projects in fast-moving areas of research related to the activity of university libraries in education, science and culture.

Focus аnd Scope

UniLibNSD is a peer reviewed, open access journal published annually by the Scientific Library of Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies, using the OJS Software. Conference proceedings provide librarians and other information professionals with a forum to find research that can aid decision-making in professional practice. This is a publication about communication and for communication, the papers for which were selected by Scientific Committee of the UniLibNSD International Conference and recommended by the Editorial Board.

Peer Review Process

The journal uses single-blind peer review: Reviewers are aware of the identity of the authors, but authors are unaware of the identity of reviewers. The manuscripts are sent to the external reviewers with knowledge of the subject area but who do not have a conflict of interest. A final decision on publication is made by the Editorial Board. Members of the UniLibNSD Editorial Board will evaluate the materials in terms of quality, relevance for the conference, theme, clarity, originality and timeliness.

Copyright and Licensing

This journal provides open access to all of its content.
As such, copyright for articles published in this journal is retained by the authors, under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). The CC BY license permits commercial and non-commercial reuse. Such access is associated with increased readership and increased citation of an author's work. For more information on this approach, see the Public Knowledge Project, the Directory of Open Access Journals, or the Budapest Open Access Initiative.

The CC BY 4.0 license allows users to copy, distribute and adapt the work in any way, provided that they properly point to the author. Therefore, the editorial board of the journal does not prevent from placing published materials in third-party repositories. In order to protect manuscripts from misappropriation by unscrupulous authors, reference should be made to the original version of the work.

The journal permits placement of any version of the article in an institution or other repository of the author's choice without embargo.

Digital Archiving Policy

UNIVERSITY LIBRARY AT A NEW STAGE OF SOCIAL COMMUNICATIONS DEVELOPMENT. CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS have electronic backup and preservation of access to the content of its journals via PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).

UniLibNSD also have electronic backup and preservation of access to the content of its journal via Zenodo.

Publication fee policy

We would like the authors from different continents, both high-income and less developed ones, to have the opportunity to publish in UniLibNSD.

Therefore, in 2022 we offer our esteemed authors a model of APC payment based on the World Bank data GDP per capita. (https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/NY.GDP.PCAP.CD?most_recent_value_desc=true )

The basic fee of 6-8 pages (font Times New Roman 12pt) is given in the table below. The fee for each additional page is $5.
